Almatea, S.A., based in Barcelona Spain, was organized in 1992 as a distributor of software. Its primary products are PC-based facsimile and electronic mail software applications distributed to Spanish-speaking markets. The company licensed existing products and translated the application, manuals and packaging into both Catalán and Castellan Spanish. Sold in 1995.
